About Suzan
I have over 20 years of teaching experience certified in elementary education. I have also been our districts academically gifted coordinator and taught units of study to students in our public school to enrich their learning. I was also the founder of children’s theatre in our state in which I directed musicals and also enjoy writing plays for children. I have been tutoring students in our district for many years and love to engage students in their learning.

I engage students by helping them to make personal connections to the concepts they are learning. I find ways to engage them by utilizing a variety of strategies so that the student is set up for success. I make up jingles to help students to remember methods and processes to help them to remember and understand concepts being taught. My students enjoy learning with me while at the same time they are among the highest scoring students in our district.
