About Maddie
Hi, I’m Maddie Williams! I’m a senior at Emporia State University studying Elementary Education with a focus on special education. I’ve been working with children for nearly a decade—through tutoring, nannying, daycare, and as a para and substitute teacher. I’m passionate about helping kids grow in confidence and ability, especially in subjects like math that can feel intimidating. I’m also a creative at heart I love music, art, and finding fun, hands-on ways to make learning stick. I’m reliable, patient, and committed to making a positive impact in every child’s life.

My math lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s unique learning style. I focus on building a strong foundation by using clear explanations, hands-on strategies, and real-life examples that help math make sense. Whether we’re working on basic number sense or more advanced concepts, each session is structured to build confidence, encourage growth, and make math feel less intimidating. I understand what it’s like to struggle with math, which is why I create a judgment-free space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and truly learn. My goal is to help every student feel capable and confident in their math abilities.
