About Rebecca
Hi! I’m an immersion educator with 19 years of experience and a Master’s Degree in Education from DePaul University. Having studied abroad in Spain and Mexico, I love bringing authentic culture into the classroom. I am dedicated to professional growth, traveling to national conferences to bring back the best research-based strategies for my students. My approach is completely immersive and play-based, using games and movement to teach children Spanish through active and joyful experiences!

Using immersive strategies, I teach children how to learn Spanish through experience. My approach is entirely play-based, meaning we have fun learning Spanish through games and movement! One of the research-based techniques I use is called Total Physical Response (TPR), which allows your child to absorb new vocabulary naturally using physical movements and visual support
