Assess the current ability level and what the playing goals of the student are. Selecting appropriate individualized methods and literature tailored specifically to maximize the students' success and joy in making flute music. Encourage ensemble playing for expanding horizons and offer student flute choirs at various levels of advancement.
Twenty years of experience teaching high achieving students who even achieve first chair, audition into honors district band and orchestra, all state, area youth orchestra, Best of the Day solo, and selective flute intensives. LOVE to teach young beginners AGES 6-7 THROUGH ADULT. An award-winning method for teaching young beginners is used to motivate and nurture joy in music making. Student flute choirs are also available and encouraged to round out musicianship and enjoyment of the music making process.
The rate sited above is for one hour, but 1/2 hour and 45 minute lessons are also available. Please inquire about those rates. If student misses because of illness or unexpected emergency, a makeup lesson can be scheduled within one month of the missed lesson. No makeup lessons are given if student misses a lesson for social reasons. Refunds are not given.
