About Matthew
I am currently doing a master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Queen's University Belfast, sitting on a first class honours overall. I did maths in secondary school, achieving an A* in A-level maths, an A in GCSE additional maths and an A in GCSE ordinary maths.
I have previous experience of tutoring online in my 3rd year of university. I can offer additional help to any topics that are not understood in school. I will teach the topic to provide an understanding and then apply additional understanding through practice questions. I believe top grades are achieved by completing the past paper questions for each topic. Through completing these past paper questions, blind spots in the topic are identified. The mistakes are then noted down and that topic is revisited to minimise/eliminate the chances of that mistake happening again. The past paper questions are then completed again, without any notes, which provides sufficient knowledge of the topic. This is done for every single topic to achieve a top grade.

I can offer additional help to any topics that are not understood in school. I will teach the topic to provide an understanding and then apply additional understanding through practice questions. Top grades are achieved by completing the past paper questions for each topic. Through completing these past paper questions, blind spots in the topic are identified. The mistakes are then noted down and retaught to eliminate/minimise that mistake happening again. The past paper questions are then completed again which provides sufficient knowledge of the topic. This will put the student in the optimum position ahead of the exam.
Progress is made through the ease of doing past papers. When past papers can be completed, under exam conditions, this is a measure of the best position to be in ahead of the exam.
