About Tara
I’m a singing tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Voice. I provide personalised lessons tailored to students of all levels—from school and college learners to adults and professionals. My teaching covers a wide range of styles including classical, pop, movie soundtracks, and folk singing. I focus on building strong skills in ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory. More importantly, I help students develop vocal confidence through safe and healthy techniques. Every voice is unique, and I believe in nurturing each student’s individual sound. My lessons are interactive and supportive, creating a positive space where students feel encouraged to explore and grow. My singing methodology helps both adult beginners and advanced teens discover their unique vocal identity while encouraging creative growth. We also use modern tools like DAWs for recording and playback, helping students hear their growth and experiment with harmonies and effects. Melody trainers assist with pitch accuracy and musical agility, making practice focused and effective. This approach combines technique with artistry, ensuring each singer grows not only in skill but in personal expression.
