About Gomi
As a Guitar tutor with more than 12 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping students grow as musicians and achieve their goals. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals at different stages of their learning journey.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation while encouraging creativity and independent thinking. I believe that students learn best when lessons are engaging, practical, and connected to their interests.
My lessons include chord techniques, rhythm training, scales, fingerstyle methods, improvisation, and song performance. I also teach music theory, ear training, songwriting, and musical expression to help students develop a well-rounded understanding of music.
I provide personalized feedback, structured practice plans, and continuous encouragement to help students progress confidently. My classes are designed to be interactive and enjoyable, ensuring that students stay motivated and continue improving over time.
My ultimate goal is to help every student become a confident guitarist and develop a lifelong love for music.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, and I make sure my lessons are adapted according to the student's age, ability, and personal goals. I create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident to learn, ask questions, and express themselves freely.
I teach Guitar through a structured and practical approach. Beginners start with posture, finger exercises, hand coordination, rhythm practice, and basic chords. As students gain confidence, they gradually move to scales, chord progressions, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, and song performance. Advanced students are guided in improvisation, musical expression, and performance preparation.
I focus on building a strong foundation because good fundamentals are essential for long-term growth. I provide regular feedback and encourage students to practice consistently with achievable goals. Rather than rushing through lessons, I believe in steady progress and proper understanding.
Apart from Guitar, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, basic music reading, and songwriting concepts. These subjects help students understand music in a complete way and improve their overall musicianship.
My goal is to help students become confident, disciplined, and creative musicians while making learning enjoyable and rewarding.
