About Elena
With 10 years of piano teaching experience, I am dedicated to helping students achieve success through personalized and engaging instruction. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, tailoring lessons to their individual goals and learning styles.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and lifelong learning. I believe that music education should be enjoyable, meaningful, and accessible to everyone.
My classes cover piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I also guide students in developing productive practice habits that support long-term improvement.
In addition to piano instruction, I teach keyboard fundamentals and music reading. These skills help students gain a deeper understanding of music and become more independent learners.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve steadily, and discover the joy of making music. Through supportive guidance and structured learning, I help students reach their full musical potential.

My teaching methodology focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and continuous improvement. I believe learning piano should be a rewarding experience that helps students develop technical skills, creativity, discipline, and self-confidence.
Lessons begin with correct posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. As students progress, they learn scales, chords, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive playing, and performance preparation through well-structured lessons.
I encourage students to understand the purpose of every exercise instead of simply repeating it. Through demonstrations, guided practice, and regular feedback, students build confidence and become independent learners.
Students explore different musical styles while developing creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and musical interpretation. These experiences help students become expressive performers with strong musical understanding.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard techniques, rhythm training, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, and beginner composition. These additional subjects strengthen complete musicianship.
My mission is to provide inspiring, organized, and student-focused lessons that help every learner achieve their musical goals while developing a lifelong love for piano and music.
