About Samuel
I am a passionate Saxophone tutor with 19+ years of teaching experience and have successfully taught around 150 students at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. I enjoy working with students of different ages and backgrounds, helping them build confidence and musical skill through structured and engaging lessons.
My teaching approach is flexible and student-focused. I adapt lessons based on each student’s learning style, goals, and pace. I believe that clear explanations, regular practice, and positive encouragement are essential for steady progress.
Lessons focus on developing strong saxophone fundamentals such as breathing techniques, embouchure control, tone production, finger coordination, and rhythm accuracy. As students progress, I introduce musical expression, articulation, phrasing, and basic improvisation skills.
Along with saxophone instruction, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to support complete musicianship. My goal is to help students enjoy learning the saxophone while developing skills that support long-term musical growth.

My teaching approach for Saxophone focuses on technical precision, musical understanding, and confident performance through Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I personalize lessons according to each student’s learning pace and goals.
I teach breath control, tone consistency, articulation clarity, and rhythmic accuracy in a systematic, easy-to-follow manner. Open communication creates a supportive learning environment and motivates students.
Accountability is maintained through structured practice schedules, regular assessments, and clear progress tracking. I provide honest and constructive feedback to encourage continuous growth. Integrity ensures professional and dedicated instruction.
Along with Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Harmony basics, and Improvisation techniques to help students become versatile musicians.
