About Stefan
I am an experienced violin tutor with 12+ years of teaching practice, having trained around 300 students from beginner to intermediate levels. I teach high school students, college learners, and adults, helping them build confidence and skill in violin playing. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding each student’s needs and guiding them step by step.
I pay close attention to fundamentals such as posture, bowing technique, finger placement, and sound clarity. I also encourage students to express themselves through music and develop their own style. My lessons are designed to be simple, engaging, and effective, combining exercises with practical playing. One of my key achievements is helping students improve consistently and perform with confidence. I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning space where students enjoy the process of learning violin.

My violin teaching approach is built on communication, adaptability, and practical learning experiences. I take the time to understand each student’s unique learning style and goals so I can tailor lessons that maximize understanding and progress.
I focus on developing strong technical skills including posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, and tone production while also encouraging musical expression and creativity. Lessons incorporate real-life examples such as learning songs students love, performing in informal recitals, and understanding how music is applied in performances.
I also teach related subjects like music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to help students become well-rounded musicians. My goal is to create a structured, supportive, and inspiring environment where students gain confidence, develop skills steadily, and foster a lifelong love for music.
