About Ella

I'm a gap year student originally from Australia, I had to sit my GCSEs and A-Levels at the same time in order to meet UK university entry requirements. I understand how exams can become overwhelming and would like to help. I'm very passionate about science and animals, I love learning but over the years have needed some additional support and would like to make learning just as enjoyable for you.

About the lesson

I'm 18 and on my gap year before starting my Bio-Veterinary science degree so times can be flexible to suit your schedule. Lessons can be 30mins to an hour online. I completed both my GCSE and A-Level simultaneously last year receiving the top grade at GCSE and an A at A-Level (AQA). I plan on working with the CGP revision guide on top of any textbooks and criteria that you may have. Visual learning combined with explanation assists in memory recall and understanding so I plan on using colourful diagrams and drawings for you to keep as well as guiding you to make your own and develop your own study techniques along the way. Lessons will be mainly focused on topics that you feel you need help with and once a topic is covered we will go over practice questions to confirm understanding and to help remember. I enjoy the subject and would make learning more fun and easy so by the time you get to the exam you feel comfortable and ready to answer any question :)

Ella and I have been great friends for a couple of years now, and we shared A level Biology classes together. She has shown time and time again that she is a Biology whizz, helping me through the two year course; I don’t think I ever would have made it to my first choice university without her! She aced A level, as well as GCSE, and I have no doubt she will be fantastic at tutoring. She is kind, patient, and empathetic, making her perfectly suited to educate younger learners!
