About Emily

- What kind of experience do you have?

Speech and communication is a huge interest for me (hence my chosen career path!) I love what I do and my company aims to enable you to speak and communicate with confidence.

I have carried out 1:1 therapy for both adults and children for a number of years. My company has a specialist department working with business people to improve their speech and communications skills. A large part of speech and language therapy training is the study of phonetics and phonology. We are able to analyse speech sounds in order to help you to produce the accent you wish as well as making use of social skills training and solution focused therapy in order to help you build confidence in speaking.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

My company specialises in teaching elocution as well as accent softening/ reduction. We work with both adults and young adults. I am a fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist and have over 15 years worth of experience.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy. Post graduate courses relating to speech, language and communication including: -Multiple courses related to motor speech disorders -Lee Silverman Voice Training (LSVT) -Brief Therapy (Solution focused therapy) -Training in Social Skills

- How much do you charge?

We offer a free consultation by phone, Skype or FaceTime where we can discuss what you would like to achieve in the sessions. We will then ask you to fill out a questionnaire and send a recording of your speech for analysis. We offer three different courses or we can tailor make the sessions to your needs and lifestyle. - Where do you teach?

We are able to carry out sessions within a clinic or online tutoring via Skype or FaceTime.

- When are you available?

We are available Monday-Sunday, day times and evenings.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

We generally work with adults and young adults but have experience of working with all ages.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

We are able to use Skype or FaceTime in order to carry out sessions. You can book in advance to ensure the session fits in with your working day.
