About Dean

I am a skateboarder of 18 years, I have competed in the UK national Championships and represent a handful of companies in the skateboarding sector. Drawing Boards for decks, Osiris for shoes, Slick Willie's for all my hardware, CBDeluxe for my aches and pains, Vitor Collective for my fresh ecological freindly garms, Lifetime Laces for improved strength compared with any other lace on the market and Dangerous Joys for all my stretch joggers that are the perfect companion to any skater trying to improve their skills

About the lesson

I start with the foot positioning which may seem simple and some can take this for granted but I guarantee this is the difference between rocking your first session enjoying the board and that wind in your hair to the classic slipping out the board shoots out and well usually a short sharp fall to a hip or wrist something like that. I then cover the basics to falling as if your going to progress on a skateboard this is something you simply cant ignore and may as well try to get as good at falling as you possibly can.

From here we work on skills like the tic-tac and pushing two ways in which we can gain momentum an control on our skateboard.

This leads onto a whole plethora of skateboarding skills of which is quite literally endless so lets get started

I highly recommend Dean as a tutor. As an absolute beginner I was quite nervous but Dean was brilliant. He made learning fun and broke things down in an easy to understand way. I really enjoyed my sessions with Dean and will definitely be booking more when I get the chance.
