I’ve been taking art classes since I was about five years old, and that early start led me to pursue a BFA in painting. Art has always been a core part of my life, and I’m passionate about sharing that joy with others. I aim to create a supportive, inspiring space where students can build skills, express themselves, and grow creatively at their own pace.

As a tutor, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and making mistakes—because that’s where real growth happens. I tailor each lesson to the student’s interests, goals, and skill level, whether they’re just starting out or looking to refine their technique.
A typical lesson might begin with a short warm-up exercise (like gesture drawing or color mixing), followed by a focused project that builds technical skills while encouraging creative thinking. We’ll end with a short reflection or discussion to help the student think critically about their work and progress.
What sets me apart is my background as a practicing artist with a BFA in painting, combined with a genuine passion for mentorship. I emphasize both technique and personal expression, helping students develop not just skill, but confidence in their artistic voice.
My lessons are great for elementary school to high school-age students, beginners to intermediate artists, or anyone looking to deepen their creative practice—whether for fun, school, or portfolio development.
