About Luis
I am an electrical engineering student currently attending CSULA. I have been working for 3 years at the ECST Department under the FYRE program to help students with mathematical subjects that includes precalculus, trigonometry, calculus, and differential equations. I also held a Lead position as an SI Leader and I was in charge how my team should approach on teaching students and what the best ways are for all students to understand math they are learning.

The best approach I have been using for some time is to tell the student to reverse roles as if I were the student and for the student to bu the tutor and would guide me through the problem they are doing. And based on how they explain it to me I can see what they understand and what they dont. If they do not completely understand, I will give them a little lesson on the material as well as a problem and will guide them step by step. Then I will give similar problem and they will try to do it alone and will guve them guidance if they need it.
