About Aaron

When we work together in singing lessons, we’re not just focusing on vocal technique — we’re creating a space where you can explore, express, and enjoy your voice. My teaching is completely tailored to you: your goals, your musical interests, and your pace. Whether you’re stepping into singing for the first time, returning after a break, or aiming to level up your skills, we’ll build your voice in a way that feels natural and exciting. We’ll cover core techniques like breathing, tone, vocal strength, pitch, and style, but we’ll also go deeper into connecting with your music emotionally and performing with presence. I use a creative mix of tools — from improvisation and visualization to movement and song interpretation — to help you learn in a way that suits your personality. You’ll choose the songs and styles that speak to you, and I’ll guide you in singing them with more ease and artistry. If you’re nervous or self-conscious, I’ll help you build a sense of trust and comfort in your voice. If you’re preparing for a show or recording, I’ll help you fine-tune your technique and stage skills. You’ll always leave lessons with practical steps to keep improving, without feeling overwhelmed. I also offer support in harmony, musicianship, and developing a practice plan that actually works for you. Singing should feel good, and I’m here to help you feel more confident, connected, and expressive every time you open your mouth to sing.

About the lesson

I view singing as more than technique—it's an act of storytelling, identity, and emotional freedom. My methodology blends structured learning with open exploration, grounded in communication, creativity, cultural sensitivity, and accountability.

I begin each lesson by communicating with students to assess their mood, energy, and vocal health. This allows me to shape the session around how they're feeling and what they want to express. I believe every voice matters, and by creating space for dialogue, I foster trust and student ownership.

In every session, creativity flows freely. We might reimagine a classic tune in a new genre, improvise melodies, or dissect song lyrics to find new meaning. I encourage students to bring their own artistic ideas into the lesson, helping them develop not just their voice but their creative thinking as musicians.

Cultural sensitivity is a foundation of my teaching. We explore songs from a wide range of traditions and recognize the cultural and emotional layers within them. This practice teaches both vocal nuance and deep appreciation of global music.

Accountability helps anchor all this exploration. I provide tailored practice plans, regular progress reviews, and ongoing feedback, so students stay motivated and aware of their development.

Beyond singing, I also teach related subjects such as music literacy, harmonization, vocal health, and interpretation—equipping students to express themselves with clarity and purpose on any stage.
