I like to adjust how I mentor depending on the student considering the fact that various people learn differently. Having taken the course, I have done various methods of studying and learning. That gets transferred into how I usually tutor; I do visual forms of learning such as flow charts, outlines, and drawings as well as rehashing certain topics in more simplistic terms to build the knowledge together cohesively. In the skills portion, I Like to run through various scenarios that are interactive and visually based.
I am a certified EMT with a degree in Biology. I passed both the course and the national this year so I've experienced the tests and exams that are up to date. I am skilled in both the lecture/book portion of the course and the skills exams. (My ability extends to the basics on EMT and not the medical protocols of a Paramedic.)
Rates remain the same for all students of various levels (I do not specialize in Paramedic or county based protocols; it is strictly basic EMT skills.) There is a fee of 10 dollars for students that cancel appointments in less than 24 hours.
