About Blake
I have 8 years of teaching and professional experience as a Trumpet tutor, and I enjoy helping school and college students achieve their musical dreams. My goal is to create lessons that are inspiring, practical, and suited to each student's individual needs.
Students in my classes learn breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, articulation, rhythm, tone production, scales, sight-reading, ear training, music theory, and stage performance. I focus on building strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and confidence.
One of the most rewarding milestones in my career has been watching students progress from beginners to confident performers. Their achievements remind me of the value of patience, encouragement, and consistent practice.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to support individual growth. My classroom is friendly, respectful, and focused on helping students enjoy learning.
Teaching is more than sharing musical knowledge—it is about inspiring confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music. I look forward to helping every student achieve success and discover their full potential.

My teaching approach is designed to help students develop strong trumpet skills while enjoying the learning process. I believe every student learns differently, so I create flexible lessons based on individual goals, experience, and learning pace. My focus is on building confidence, creativity, and musical understanding.
Motivation encourages students to stay enthusiastic about learning. I help students set realistic goals, maintain regular practice habits, and celebrate every improvement they make.
Communication is a key element of my lessons. I explain musical concepts in simple English, use demonstrations, and encourage students to ask questions whenever they need help.
Integrity is reflected through my honest and respectful teaching style. I provide constructive feedback and encourage students to develop patience, discipline, and responsibility.
Creativity helps students enjoy music more deeply. Lessons include breathing control exercises, articulation practice, rhythm activities, improvisation, musical expression, and performance preparation.
Besides trumpet, I teach music theory, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm reading, beginner composition, ensemble playing, and music appreciation. My goal is to help students become skilled and confident performers.
