About Julie

I have a lot of enthusiasm for English and spending time with learners is so rewarding for me because I can see them growing in confidence and developing new skills too. As a qualified English language tutor, you can rely on me to design a curriculum that will be enjoyable, practical and useful to you on your journey. I am a dedicated coach, providing meaningful opportunities to meet with a reliable native English speaker who is able to provide a flexible schedule of opportunities to put the enjoyment into learning a language.

About the lesson

I offer individually planned lessons to suit your level and to fit your interests and goals. I can patiently guide you to reach your goals using a range of tools and approaches. I will give you my full attention and plan our lesson time to use a variety of exercises but also build in time for conversation. I have worked as a Senior Leader and Project Lead and so I can deliver a full range of business English lessons including interview practice sessions. I am a well-spoken native English speaker and also a Leadership Coach and Mentor, this enables me to actively listen to you and give you feedback that will help you to move towards your individual goals. I am able to teach online for 60 minute lessons and can build a curriculum to progress your level and interests. You can expect to become a proficient reader, confident conversationalist and grow your vocabulary and discover more about grammar. I carry out regular reviews of my student's progress to ensure I keep on track in our classes. I am always willing to have general conversation on a wide range of topics such as health, current affairs and love to learn about your culture, experiences and hear your stories. I am a keen reader - I love self-improvement topics but also keen on reading fiction, so perhaps we can read together - from articles to books, I have lots to share with you. I provide a 30 minute free lesson so that we can get to know each other and make some plans about your English learning future.
