About Lara
I have a strong interest in math, particularly Leaving Cert Ordinary Level math, and I recently achieved an O1 (90–100%). Math comes naturally to me, but I understand that many students find it challenging.
Through helping my younger brother with his Junior Cycle math, I saw how difficult math can be for students and how important confidence is. Supporting him and seeing his confidence improve inspired me to help other students in the same way.
As a current college student, I am familiar with the modern curriculum and understand how students are taught today. My goal is to create a supportive, approachable learning environment where students can build confidence and improve their understanding of math.

I help students become familiar with exam papers by focusing on one topic at a time. Once a topic is understood, we practise exam-style questions to build confidence and improve exam technique.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, with the option of 2-hour sessions if extra support is needed.
My lessons are aimed at students studying Junior Cycle Maths (Higher and Ordinary Level) and Leaving Cert Ordinary Level Maths, especially those who need help understanding topics or building confidence.
