About ED
I have been private tutoring (adults and teens) & teaching in a high school (grades 9-12) more than 25 years. I also helped students prep for exams like SAT and ACT. I have a Masters in English Literature from UH Manoa (HI) as well as a second Masters degree in Education from Gonzaga University.

My methodology is based on steps and scaffolding which builds on what level a student is on in reading or writing. Pre-testing and post testing shows the headway each student may make at the rate that is attainable , yet challenging. Materials in literature reading come from multi-cultural sources, and writing themes are varied and by choice in each genre.
