William is a rare find- not only is he a highly respected international clarinet soloist but also a patient and exceptionally knowledgeable teacher. He has an excellent understanding of the music syllabuses for all the exam boards and also for GCSE and A’Level music. William delivers lessons that are tailored to one’s particular level of learning, combining technique with artistry, he has helped me develop my playing skills with confidence and he is a joy to learn from.

We originally met him as he taught my daughter saxophone at school. Now she has left, he is continuing to teach her, and comes to our house. He is an excellent teacher and she would never want anyone else! He is patient, supportive and kind, has a great sense of humour, and knows how to strike the balance with my daughter between getting the best out of her playing, but also making it fun at the same time. He has seen her through all her Grades with excellent results, just Grade 8 to go, but know we will always stay in touch with him. Any student would be lucky to have him as their teacher.
