About Maryam
Hi everyone!
My name is Maryam and will be starting Medical School this September. I received A*A*A* in my biology, chemistry and maths A-levels last year and 9’s at IGCSE and I am keen to share what I have learned. I am available to tutor primary school,11+,16+ and GCSEs/ iGCSEs in biology and chemistry! I enjoy teaching others and I have 2 years of experience in tutoring all ages and lots of experience with children. Please contact me if you are interested!

My lessons are fun engaging and student-led. I think the key to succeeding in education is to enjoy it. My approach in learning reflects that and I do my best to instil a positive attitude towards the subject. I like to get an idea of what my students would like to achieve for the lesson and create goals for them that we can achieve together! I begin my lessons by identifying my student's weaknesses and strengths. This enables me to focus on their weaker areas of knowledge to get the most out of the lessons. I then move onto the theory of what the student needs to learn. I am patient and always go at the speed of the student so that the student follows along with everything that I am teaching. By frequently asking questions my students are actively involved in the lessons. I then use past paper questions to consolidate my student's knowledge and to develop the skills needed to answer in exams. However, every student is different therefore I am flexible in my approach to learning to do the best for my students. Most of all I am a friendly person that wants to see my students succeed and accomplish their goals!
