About Isaiah
With 12 years of professional teaching experience, I am a committed Piano tutor who has successfully taught around 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. I enjoy working with students of all ages and helping them develop a strong musical foundation. My tutoring approach is student-centered and progressive. I assess each learner’s strengths and challenges before planning lessons. Beginners focus on posture, rhythm, and reading music. Intermediate students develop finger control, scales, and coordination. Advanced students refine expression, accuracy, and performance skills. I include music theory, sight-reading, and ear training in lessons to strengthen overall musicianship. I also teach students how to practice effectively and stay consistent. One of my strengths is my calm and encouraging teaching style. I motivate students with clear guidance and constructive feedback. My goal is to help students enjoy piano learning and achieve steady improvement.

My Piano teaching methodology is guided by Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I believe students learn best when lessons are planned according to their individual needs and comfort. I begin by understanding the student’s level, goals, and learning preferences.
Lessons focus on building strong piano foundations such as posture, finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm accuracy, and reading music. These basics are taught through step-by-step exercises and simple songs. As students progress, I introduce scales, chords, sight-reading, and expressive playing. Flexibility allows me to adjust lesson pace based on progress.
Collaboration is encouraged in every class. I invite students to ask questions, share feedback, and choose music they enjoy. This keeps lessons engaging and motivating. I also guide students on effective practice routines at home.
Positivity is central to my teaching style. I create a supportive space where mistakes are treated as part of learning. Along with piano, I teach basic music theory, rhythm training, ear development, and practice planning. My goal is to help students enjoy piano learning and grow confidently.
