About Jun

There is a stereotype that suggests Asians are naturally good at math. As for me, I spent much of my childhood working through math books that my parents gave me to complete after school. In hindsight, although I might have preferred other activities like socializing with friends or playing games, I'm grateful for how I was able to develop my mathematical intuition.

I wasn't naturally good at math, but I dedicated hours to unraveling how certain patterns revealed themselves across different subjects. Now, I can think critically about a problem and solve it using the tools I've acquired throughout my life.

About the lesson

About me: I have worked at the tutoring company Math4me, where I taught young children up to high school seniors. In addition, I accept private tutoring requests and have achieved positive results in improving students' grades, earning excellent feedback from parents. I have also graduated from SFU as a computer engineer and have a strong passion for continuing teaching as a hobby of mine.

A typical hour-long session may involve test preparation, homework assistance, and a brief assessment or review before concluding.

Who am I: I am here to help anyone looking to achieve better results in math or gain a deeper understanding of mathematics. I accept applications from grade school to Pre-Calculus 12 Math. I also teach first year Calculus (derivatives & integrals) and linear algebra.
