About Ruth
I am currently an Engineer and have been tutoring now for just over 3 years. I have given private lessons to mainly secondary aged pupils sitting Nationals / Highers and several of my pupils have now moved onto college / university. I enjoy passing on knowledge to the next generation.
I am not claiming to know everything, if there is something I do not know, I will work towards finding it out for my student - or work at finding the solution together.

My teaching method is to try to make learning enjoyable and fun. I base my classes on the topic of the student and what Topics they would like to focus on, tailoring in their notes from school. I try and include every day examples in my explanation as I feel it is easier to understand this way.
