About Mayoorran
I'm an engineer by training, with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and I currently work as a Lecturer at the University of West London, Ras Al Khaimah campus. In my own A Levels, I took the Physical Science stream (Math, Physics, and Chemistry) and was ranked first in Sri Lanka.
I've been teaching for over 15 years across Sri Lanka, India, Qatar, Maldives, Bahrain, and the UAE. What I enjoy most is the moment a student finally gets a concept they've been stuck on. Math and Physics were the subjects that shaped how I think, and I want to help students see them as logical and enjoyable rather than something to fear.

My lessons start with understanding, not memorising. I first find out where the student is struggling, then rebuild the concept step by step using simple examples and real life applications. Once the idea is clear, we move on to practice questions and past exam papers so the student learns how to apply it under exam conditions.
Each lesson is planned around the student's syllabus, pace and goals, whether that's catching up, building confidence or aiming for top grades. I give short practice tasks between sessions and keep parents updated on progress.
Lessons are available online or in person in Ras Al Khaimah.
