I took an optimization class in which Amit was the TA, and he was always very friendly, encouraging, and accommodating. He covered the concepts well, including additional content that was not covered during lectures but that students would benefit from learning. Altogether, Amit was a great TA!

Amit is the kind of teacher who will bring the lessons down to your level for optimal understanding. He has a lot of patience, so you need not worry about not getting it the first time. And most importantly he won't make up things just to sound all knowing, if there is something he doesn't know he will take the time to learn it himself before passing it on to you.
