About Sam
I always had the misconception that I struggle with academic subject, especially maths. It wasn't until college that it really clicked for me, so I want to show students that they are 100% capable!
I'll be honest, I got very average results in secondary school. I went to a Grammar school in Buckinghamshire, so I understand the pressure that many students are under, even more so at exam time. However, I went to college with the determination to succeed - and with the right teaching, achieved A*A*A* in Engineering! (Including Further Maths).
I couldn't believe it. If I had known the same methods and mindset in Secondary that I used in college, I would have done far better.
I want to use what I learnt to teach and inspire students, and give them that extra confidence boost!
