About Hiba
I am an engineering graduate with a strong foundation in mathematics and logical problem solving. I enjoy helping students understand math in a clear, simple, and stress-free way. My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to help them truly understand how and why those answers work.
I bring a calm and patient teaching style that allows students to learn at their own pace without feeling pressured. I focus on building strong fundamentals in geometry, arithmetic, and logical thinking so students can gain confidence and become more independent learners.
I take my role as a tutor seriously and always prepare for my lessons, making sure each session is structured, focused, and adapted to the student’s level. I believe that with the right explanation and guidance, every student can improve in math and feel more confident in their abilities.

I believe that most students don’t struggle with maths because they are “bad at it” — they struggle because it was never explained in a way that made sense to them. My goal is to make maths feel clear, logical, and approachable.
I focus on understanding first, not memorizing. Whether it’s geometry, arithmetic, or logical reasoning, I break every concept into simple steps and show students how ideas connect, so they can solve problems confidently on their own.
I use a calm, step-by-step approach:
I first check what the student already knows
Then I explain the concept in a simple way
We solve problems together
Finally, the student tries similar questions independently
I also use visual explanations, everyday examples, and short practice exercises so learning feels natural instead of overwhelming.
A normal session looks like this:
1. Quick review of what we covered before
2. Introduction of today’s topic
3. Worked examples with clear explanations
4. Student practice with my guidance
5. A short recap to make sure everything is understood
This keeps lessons structured, focused, and stress-free.
I am patient, encouraging, and very good at explaining things in a simple way. I don’t rush students, and I never make them feel uncomfortable for asking questions. I also bring an engineering mindset to maths — I show students why something works, not just how to do it.
