About Peter
I am 23 years old, born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I grew up an only child, inundated with the wonderful wild of Alaska. At a young age, I began training as a Nordic skier, clocking many hundreds of hours per year. At the same time, I was learning all my young brain could sponge up: accelerated math and science, immersion German, and trips to Slovakia where my mother has family.
By 19, I had landed a student-athlete scholarship at the University of Alaska in my hometown, Anchorage, and my career as an NCAA D1 skier began. Fast forward 4 years, I have graduated from UAA with honors in Civil Engineering and am now pursuing my Olympic dream by racing on the World Cup. As I sit here writing this in Seefeld, Austria, I feel the dull ache in my legs from a hard day of sprint racing, 22nd place!
I decided to start this account as a way to keep myself intellectually stimulated and hopefully help some people learn beautiful things!

Mathematics and physics are the background of all measured sciences. Engineering especially has a deep reliance on a quick understanding of the mathematical operators and techniques used to solve problems. Physics is the foundation of all STEM courses. Newtons laws, equilibrium, motion, friction and gravity are all important subjects for any STEM major.
I teach mostly by worked-out examples to reinforce the concepts that need to be learned. I will reference current mathematics & physics textbooks and other public YouTube content for my examples and lesson plans.
My lessons are for anyone struggling to learn mathematics or physics in high school or college.

Peter has helped me solve engineering problems for many years. If there’s an engineering problem, Peter will find an answer. He is excellent at math and his explanations are great. Definitely recommend.
