About Ankita
I am particularly interested in teaching Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students who want to strengthen their understanding of Math and Physics, improve confidence, or prepare effectively for exams.
As a civil engineer, I previously worked in a corporate environment within a construction consultancy. While the experience helped me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills, it also made me realize how much I genuinely missed teaching and working directly with students. Having taught Math and Physics in person for over 4 years, I found teaching to be the most rewarding part of my journey, which is why I now want to return to it with full focus and commitment.
I enjoy creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and improving steadily over time.

I focus on making Maths and Physics feel understandable rather than intimidating. My teaching style is patient, structured, and highly practical. I break difficult concepts into simpler steps, use real examples where possible, and focus heavily on exam-style questions and logical thinking.
Typical lessons are 60 minutes long, though longer sessions can be arranged closer to exams or for revision support.
I come from an engineering and analytical background. In addition, I have over 4 years of experience teaching Maths and Physics in person to school-level students.
My lessons are suitable for Leaving Certificate students (Higher and Ordinary Level). My aim is not just to help students score better, but to help them become independent learners.
