About Hiba
My passion for teaching has taught me two things, which I hope to make all my students understand too: 1) The method of teaching can make or break a subject for you, and if it weren't for my amazing teachers during school, I never would've learned many of the techniques I know now, including modifying MY approach to suit the student, and although I can't do anything back for them, I can at least pay it forward, and I'm hoping to inspire at least some students to also do the same. 2) My goal with my students won't be to just teach them their required subjects, it will be also focused on developing that problem-solving skill of theirs, which once developed, can help them tackle any problem, regardless of whether it's course related or not.

My teaching experience started many years ago, when I would simply be helping many of my classmates with our coursework. I tutored a few students outside my class, during my final year of high school, and currently I am tutoring 2 students separately in high school math. I've been told I had a lot of patience, which I think is important in teaching, and I have the ability to change my method of explanation to suit the student's needs. My lessons can be anywhere from an hour to 2 hours long, depending on the student, and the level of study, as higher grades generally need more time, and my lessons are for all ages and grades from preschool up till high school.
