About Daniel
I hold B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering from NYU. I've been a teaching assistant, co-authored a paper on plasma chemistry, advised government customers on chemical formulation as an engineer at Leidos, and now research electrochemical systems. I love making difficult science feel approachable, and I'm happiest when a student says, "Oh, that makes sense now."

I begin by having students talk through a problem, which shows exactly where understanding breaks down. Sessions move from a quick review, to targeted concept work, to guided practice where I gradually step back. Two years as an NYU TA and a research background let me explain the "why" behind the formulas. Best suited for high school and undergraduate organic and physical chemistry students.
