About Manmeet
Hi! I'm an Engineering Physics graduate and a software engineer who genuinely enjoys helping people understand subjects that can feel intimidating at first.
Throughout university and my career, I've learned that success in math, physics, and programming isn't about being "naturally smart"—it's about developing a way of thinking. My goal is to help students build that confidence so they can solve problems independently, not just memorize solutions for an exam.
I've worked in demanding technical environments and understand what it takes to learn difficult material. At the same time, I know how frustrating it feels to be stuck, so I aim to create lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
Whether you're looking for help catching up in class, preparing for an exam, or building a stronger foundation for engineering or computer science, I'd be happy to help.

My approach is patient and structured, but I focus more on helping students actually understand what’s going on rather than just memorizing steps. I usually start by figuring out where they’re getting stuck, then break things down into simpler pieces using examples, diagrams, and practice. I also like having students explain their thinking out loud so I can catch gaps early and help build confidence.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in on what they’re learning and what they need help with. We go through one or two key concepts together, then move into practice where I slowly step back and let them try on their own. I usually end with a short recap and a few questions to reinforce the idea.
What sets me apart is my background in Engineering Physics and my experience as a software engineer. I’m good at connecting abstract concepts to real-world applications, which can make things feel more intuitive. I also try to keep lessons low-pressure so students feel comfortable asking questions.
I work with high school students (math, pre-calculus, calculus, physics, intro programming) and first-year university students in math, physics, engineering, or coding. I can help with homework, exam prep, or just building stronger problem-solving skills.
