About Jalaj
I am an Engineering postgraduate at University College Dublin (UCD) with a background in Computer Science, with strong knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and programming. I have also previously supported and mentored students in technical subjects, helping students understand concepts and improve their problem-solving skills.
My goal is not just to help students complete their homework, but to help them understand the concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and become more confident and independent learners.

My Approach to Tutoring
My teaching approach focuses on making concepts simple, practical, and easy to understand rather than relying on memorization. I first understand the student's current level and areas where they need support. I then break difficult topics into smaller concepts, explain them step-by-step, and use examples and practice questions to build confidence. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate rather than simply listening to the lesson.
Teaching Methodology

* Revision of important concepts before moving to advanced topics
* Identifying and addressing individual learning gaps

Lesson Length
Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes, depending on the student's age, subject, and learning requirements. I can also offer longer sessions when required for exam preparation or multiple subjects.

1. 2nd & 3rd Year Junior Cycle students– Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science
2. Undergraduate students – Computer programming, programming fundamentals, Data Structures & Algorithms, and problem-solving
