I am an engineer and I have been giving lessons for over a year and a half now.
I mostly taught students in groups who were preparing for their O-level exams
The students I tutored this year performed well beyond my expectations in their jamb results with most of them scoring nothing less than 200

I am an electrical engineer.
I tutor secondary school students and 1st year (100) level students.
My first approach is to examine the student to see how proficient he/she is in a topic of interest then, I determine where and how to help the student
I bring myself down to a students level of understanding and I use analogies and real-life examples a lot.
I dislike rote-learning techniques where a student has to memorize or just know without really understanding why and how somethings are the way they are because I believe that comprehending a problem is the first key to solving it
