About Aimee
I have been in university for five years now, studying education, physics, biology, briefly psychology, and engineering. Now, I am taking some time off as I have yet again decided to switch my career path to go back to education. This is because I really want to help kids. I had to learn most things in school the hard way so if there is a way I can help others avoid those hurdles I gladly will. Another good reason for this switch is I am a big people person and engineers are notoriously not. I love helping people, it really is all I want to do. So let me help you!

I want to know how you learn and I will happily adjust accordingly. Depending on the course, I will typically work through the major and key concepts that are most important and follow up by filling in the details. I love to bring in different pneumonics or visual tools to help with remembering concepts or memorizing key functions such as the unit circle. Working in patterns is what I find works the best, and summarizing the overwhelming amount of information that students are given. I was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD in my third year of university, which threw me into a pattern of trying to learn what learning style works for me and this has allowed me to share these tools with others, even the tools that do not work for me. This is what I find sets me apart. I know how frustrating school can be first hand and I want to help. This help can extend to anyone studying in their first two years of university or high school, specifically in math and the sciences.
