As a Computer Engineering student at the University of Toronto, I understand how challenging—and rewarding—STEM subjects can be. I offer tutoring in math, physics, and introductory programming for middle and high school students, whether you're aiming to strengthen your fundamentals or excel in advanced coursework.
My Teaching Approach
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to suit your learning style. I focus on building conceptual clarity first, followed by guided problem-solving and independent practice. I break down complex ideas into manageable steps and often use real-world examples, especially from engineering and robotics, to make lessons more relatable and exciting.
A Typical Lesson
Warm-up (5–10 min): Quick review of previous material or a mini-quiz to reinforce learning
Concept Breakdown (20–30 min): Step-by-step explanation of new topics using diagrams, analogies, or interactive tools
Guided Practice (20 min): Work through problems together, identify areas of difficulty, and fix misconceptions
Wrap-up & Homework Plan (5 min): Summarize key takeaways, assign custom practice problems, and set goals for next time
