I like to approach problems slowly and I take my time to make sure I have understood them. I try to think of different ways of arriving to the solutions so that even when I forgot the formula, I can easily refer back to the basics and get my answer.
I also believe when preparing for an exam, it's better to try and solve more difficult questions than those expected in the exam. This helps make the exam much easier and gives a higher chance of passing.
