About Matt
Hi! My name is Matt and I am a fourth year Engineering student at Durham University and am specialising in Aeronautical engineering. My hobbies include sport and music so feel free to ask me about these too! I have a good amount of experience with tutoring and have always had a natural passion for maths and physics so I am excited to share the skills I've picked up throughout my education. My sessions will have a flexible structure which can vary according to your needs. It's great if you come to the session with a specific problem that you're struggling with but don't worry if not! My aim is to make you feel as confident as possible by the time you get to the exam. I'm really looking forward to meeting you!

My sessions will be 60 minutes long and will be tailored to the students need. There will be a 'I do, we do, you do' approach, where I will explain a new concept, then the student and I would approach a question together, and finally, the student would tackle a question on their own. I have experience tutoring for CoachBright and MyTutor and was an academic mentor at secondary school as well as being head boy which developed my communication skills.
