About Kayla
Hi, I'm Kayla
I am going into my sophomore year of college at Binghamton University for a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and I have made the Dean's list for the first two semesters.
My experience with teaching has gone back a few years. I have led classes instructing ice skating at multiple rinks with children ages 5-12. I also volunteer with a Physics Outreach group. Through this program, I visit elementary schools and teach physics concepts to young children.

I typically plan lessons around a specific topic students are struggling with.
Given a topic or practice sheet I plan classes that help students improve understanding by pinpointing what they struggle with and targeting those areas.
I can teach mathematics competently up to a high school level and basic level physics (kinematics, force, and work).
