About Akram
I am Akram Njuki, a 2nd year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Loughborough University, the 8th ranked university overall in the UK, currently working towards a Masters and I achieved an A in A-level mathematics. I believe learning should feel fun and encouraging rather than overwhelming, which is why I take the time to understand each student individually and create a relaxed environment where they feel comfortable asking and answering questions.

My teaching methods are student focused, I encourage students to take a more active role in learning and understanding a topic, and tailor each lesson to the learning style I find works best for them. My lessons emphasise active recall, which is scientifically proven to build stronger memory pathways compared to simply passive rereading.
Lessons typically last about 1 hour, but I am open to longer or shorter lengths depending on student needs.
I have a year of tutor experience working at Talent Pool Academy in London, where I taught students ranging from early secondary to A-level. My current lessons are focused on GCSE and A-level students, but I am happy to teach younger students also.

Akram was my tutor at my school when i was in year 11 doing my GCSEs and he helped me achieve an 8 in maths which was amazing. I think he is quite good at teaching because he’s patient when he’s going over topics and he was quite good at helping me understand the basics of maths really well. So at least personally i think he’s a good tutor.
