I am an ArtSci graduate from McMaster University, now pursuing biomedical engineering. I love learning and teaching and would be happy to help. Asking questions and exploring areas of difficulty can be vulnerable. I want to help you navigate learning in a judgment-free and supportive environment.

Learning the key general concepts and ideas behind subjects is important to the way that I teach. In a lesson with me, I hope to answer your homework questions but also discover and correct the conceptual bases you need. In practice this looks like taking up questions you have while I get a sense of the patterns of your thoughts and struggles, me giving a mini lesson on topics I think could help, and then applying that lesson to more practice questions. This process can repeat multiple times throughout a session. In the end I will assign some more questions that you can bring to our next session! I am also, of course, open to adapting to the needs of each person I meet! Sometimes (most times) we will learn together how to best have a session! I like playing games or applying your personal interests to your areas of tutoring to help too! I have a broad education and can teach k-university level maths and sciences.
