About Blake
Highly motivated Cambridge engineering student, keen to contribute to engineering challenges in high performance sport and environmental issues. From my background in competitive sailing I developed an interest in optimising mechanical and control systems to gain a competitive advantage. I chose the general engineering degree at Cambridge to understand the broadest range of engineering disciplines required for modern high performance applications. As environmental issues become increasingly important, I am interested in how these can be tackled through mechanical systems, structures, and advanced materials and processing. As a passionate team worker who combines strong analytical skills, and a learning focused mindset, I am keen to help the next generation realise their dreams of studying engineering at the world’s best universities. Work experience highlights: Structural/Civil Engineering Internship - AECOM. Specialist composites manufacturing – Graham Eels Composites. Student work experience at Nissan R&D Centre.

I believe in a questions based interactive approach to learning, focusing on the fundamentals and building each problem up from first principles. I believe 60 mins is the best length of time based off my supervisions at university and from tutoring A-level maths. The lessons are available for KS3, GCSE & A-level as well as university applications tutoring.
