As a tutor, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simpler ideas that students already understand. I use visual aids, small math calculations, and detailed notes and drawings to clarify difficult topics. I also provide pictures of my notes to reinforce learning. My lesson plans are tailored to each student's needs, aligned with the specific syllabus they are following. I keep students engaged by constantly interacting with them and asking questions. Having been a tutor during my own IB studies, where I earned a 40 with HL Maths, HL Physics, and HL Chemistry, I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them. I myself struggled in my beginning years of IB, and later on I worked hard to overcome that, which is why I scored a 7 in all my HLs.
