About Declan
I have worked as a Classroom Assistant, Football Coach, and Learning Mentor, providing me with vital teaching skills to help students work at their best level, and feel enthusiastic and a strong desire for learning
I currently study Mechanical & Electrical Engineering at the 6th best University in the UK. I achieved A* in Maths and Physics at GCSE, while at A-Level, I achieved A* in Maths, A in Further Maths, and B in Physics
I worked as an Electronics Engineering Intern at a cutting-edge telecommunications company for 1 year. I also worked for 2 months as an Engineering Intern at a successful consultancy. These roles broadened my skillset and knowledge in the fields of Maths and Physics topics. I also had the opportunity to apply some of the topics students learn about in real-life situations, allowing me to bring a fresh perspective to topics

My approach involves putting the student in the driving seat. We will tackle the topics they find most challenging, and find the learning and revision techniques that works best for them
I am passionate about learning and teaching. I received tutoring at both GCSE and A-Level, so I understand its importance, what works best for students, and how to maximise your potential. I can put myself in their shoes, providing the best ways of learning and overcoming difficult topics
I keep updated with course content and mark schemes, meaning all the important stuff will be covered. In my sessions, there are no silly questions, so ask anything and we will work through it
