About Arnu
I am a 2nd year Engineering student at UNSW who achieves high grades and excelled in the HSC in 2019.
I have 5 years of tutoring experience for maths, Biology and Chemistry which I have done privately and through a company.
Additionally, I completed the HSC in the first year of the new syllabus for Biology and Chemistry with a band 6 in both.
Tutoring is enjoyable to me as I love to see students reach their full potential and understand concepts when explained in a different way. I'm also very passionate about encouraging girls in the STEM field!

My approach to tutoring is kind and encouraging, allowing the student to reach their full potential. I also love using real life examples and analogies to help students understand content instead of just memorising it.
Depending on the students needs, I will prepare one to two hour lessons or go through questions the student has (such as homework or assignments).
A typical lesson with a HSC student will involve first asking if they have any questions about the course content, then about 40 minutes of revising content (that I pre-prepared) and finally completing 20 minutes of past exam questions relating to the revised content.
Additionally, I offer advice on how to study and prepare for the HSC to help the student reach their goals.

Details
Due to COVID, $40/hour lessons are available online and as restrictions ease this will be increased to $45/hr if the student wishes to proceed offline in a library or at their home. NOTE: Primary - year 10 students is a rate of $35 webcam & $40 in person
