About Daniel
Hello, my name is Daniel. I am a passionate engineering student currently studying at the University of Auckland, and my goal is to help you understand how to tackle NCEA problems. Since I am very familiar with NCEA, having been doing it for 3 years, I am confident I can identify the right areas for students to achieve that excellence grade. I want to teach because the thrill I get from making others understand using my understanding is very dopamine-heavy for me, and I think it is amazing that humans can pass down knowledge like this.

Before doing anything, I will look over what they are actually learning, see if I understand it as well, and make sure I have everything down before I go into the lesson. I will go through problems with them step by step, find what parts they are lacking in, and target those parts so they can improve. Repetition is important for subjects like maths and physics since actually tackling the problems is the most effective way to learn. Typically, lessons will last 40-60 minutes, and so far, I have just been tutoring my friends until the first semester of Part 1 Bachelor of Engineering at UOA. (And of course, NCEA level 2 and 3 too.) The lessons are for students in levels 1-3 NCEA, (Years 11-13). Of course I can tutor lower levels too.
