About Samanyu
Hello, I’m Samanyu, an engineering student with a strong interest in teaching and problem solving. I understand that for many students, Math can feel confusing or intimidating, especially when concepts are not explained clearly. My goal as a tutor is to make Math feel logical, structured, and approachable, regardless of a student’s starting level.
Being an engineering student has trained me to think analytically and explain problems in a clear, step-by-step manner. I bring this same mindset into my teaching, ensuring that students not only learn how to solve questions but also understand the reasoning behind each step. This helps them become more confident and independent over time.
I take my teaching responsibilities seriously and believe in being patient, punctual, and well-prepared for every class. I adapt my explanations based on the student’s needs and learning speed, and I encourage questions so that no doubt is left unresolved. My focus is always on steady improvement rather than rushing through topics.
I am comfortable teaching school-level Math as well as supporting college students who need help strengthening their fundamentals or improving their problem-solving approach. Whether a student is preparing for exams or simply wants to gain confidence in Math, I aim to provide a supportive and reliable learning environment.
I look forward to helping students build clarity, confidence, and consistency in Math.

My approach to teaching Maths is based on understanding logic before memorisation. As an engineering student, I focus on explaining why a particular method works, not just how to solve a problem. I believe Maths becomes much easier and less stressful once the reasoning behind each step is clear.
I use step-by-step explanations, simple language, and relatable examples so that students can follow the flow of a problem confidently. I adapt my teaching pace depending on the student’s level and encourage questions at every stage, especially from students who feel hesitant or afraid of Maths.
Structure of a typical class
A usual class is structured in three parts:
Concept clarity – We first break down the topic into simple ideas and formulas, ensuring the basics are strong.
Guided problem solving – I solve examples step by step, explaining the logic behind each move.
Student practice & doubt solving – The student then attempts problems, while I guide, correct mistakes, and share shortcuts where appropriate.
Regular revision and exam-oriented practice are included to build confidence over time.
What makes my teaching different
I focus on logic-based learning instead of rote methods
I am patient and comfortable teaching students who feel weak or anxious about Maths
I explain problems the way an engineering student thinks—structured, practical, and clear
I adjust methods based on whether the goal is concept building or exam preparation
